When the Lakers picked up free agent shooting guard I. Rider the league MVP didn't know. When Shaq found out he didn't like the idea of having an uncontrolable player on his team. One of the resons Shaq didn't want Rider was because the Lakers play the triangle and Rider plays isolation. Rider brings scoring to the Lakers but he also brings an attiude.
What LA should do with Rice
Portland is offering Rice the maximum salary cap. Should Rice sign with Portalnd or should he ask for another contract. If LA takes Rice and Rider thats less minutes for the both of them. If Rice signs with Portland he will get 90,000,000 dollars. Portland doesn't really want Rice they just dont want LA to get him. If rice goes to Portland a team like Clevlend or New York will try to get him. |
