If you've clicked on this page, you're obviously a spy lover!!! As a child in the sixties, I saw a lot of spy shows on T.V. Shows like The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Secret
Agent Man, The Avengers, or even Get Smart always drew my attention. Then there were what I called the "Grown-up"
spy shows, like Mission: Impossible or I Spy. As I got a little older, I always looked for The Saint (it was usually shown as a summer replacement series in the U.S., and the time slot was always changing). I still love to see Roger Moore as Simon Templar, but never cared too much for the "new" Saints that followed (with the execption of Val Kilmer)
Anyway, I hope to have some more links set up soon...hopefully some direct links!!! In the meantime, please sign-in on my guestbook and let me know who YOUR favorite spy of film or television is (and kudos to anyone who knows what U.N.C.L.E. is an acronym for.....yes, I know... but do you?)

www.the-avengers.net - A great "unofficial" site, complete
with a nifty sounds page so you can quickly load the prologue and theme music from that quirky British series!
www.ulink.net/~lurch/uncle/links.html - A great site listing several Man from U.N.C.L.E. links. Check-out the TNT link....it let's you download the theme music (as you can propably see, I also love the theme music from the genre).
www.missionimpossible.com - A website mainly centered on the film version, but it does include some info. on the classic series.
www.007forever.com/intro.html - A very excellent site, with more Bond info. than any other site I've come across!!
www.mi5.gov.uk - This is what I call a "non-fiction" site:
this is the actual P.R. website for Great Britain's internal security force.
http://193.123.144.14/interpol-pr - Another non-fiction site,
this explains the general structure of Interpol.
www.amw.com - Yet another non-fiction site, the internet home of "America's Most Wanted", the program that has helped locate over 300 fugitives!!!
MY FAVORITE LINE FROM A BOND FILM: " Do you expect me to talk? .....No Mr. Bond, I expect you to DIE!!!! (GOLDFINGER)
TRIVIA QUESTION: What British T.V. series did Honor Blackman leave to play the part of Pussy Galore in GOLDFINGER?
BETTER TRIVIA QUESTION: Who was the first actor to play James Bond? (Are you sure?)
PERSONAL TRIVIA: You know that I'm a fan of SpyGenre, but I'm also a bit of of a trekkie. Can you guess what my favorite episode is from the original series?
12/20/99 - It is with great sadness that I must announce the death of Desomond Llwellyn, better known as "Q". "Q", of course, was the one who supplied Bond with
all of his gadgets, constantly scolding him for not taking very good care of the equipment. Llwellyn was the last of the original "Bond Team" to still be in the films.
Ironically, in the current film "The World is Not Enough", "Q" introdueces his sucessor,
played by Monty Python alum John Cleese. "Q" then makes an exit, indicating that this
is the last time we'll be seeing his character. Indeed, the producers did feel that
it was time to retire Lwellyn, who had reached the age of 85. This morning it was anounced that Mr. Lwellyn was killed in an automobile accident in Europe. I don't know
what kind of car he was driving, but I'd like to think that it was an Aston Martin
(fully loaded, of course)!!!!!
