I have been aasked this Question, NUMEROUS times, by people that are new to Pokemon. It all depends on your personal prefrence, Good now, or good later. One will struggle in the beginning, and one will not. They will breeze through cetain enimys with ease, in ohter words there are pro's and Cons for each one. If you are very new to this game, choose Bulbasaur, he will help you with the beginning, and will be a decent pokemon later. If you are doign pretty well with the game, choose Squrtle, He will be good at the beginning, and good at the end. BUt if you want a real challenge, go for Charmander. Charmander will have the hardest time vurses the Brock, and Misty, but will excell after that. IT's final evolution, Charizard, is aguably the most powerful of the three, with two huge fire moves he learns at the the end of his stage. Go Here for the moves all of them learn. Now for the pick. Which one? It all depends on which one you pick, the game all revolves around this "little" pick. Choose wisly, and if your beginning, go with Bulbasaur, he'll be good.
