Polls- To add a poll to your site, first click on "Poll" at the top of your page editor. Create a name, question, and selectable answers. Then, go to the page you would like to put it on and then select "Page Editor" from the top. You will be able to click on any text already inserted, so click on the main area and go to wherever you think the poll fits in on the page. Then, go to "Insert" (if your page doesn't say insert then click on Java Version) and click poll. Select the poll you want to be displayed and then click "Ok". Your poll will be put up instantly.
Forms- Forms are the same as polls. Enter a name, your e-mail adress, and different questions. This is the ideal way to create a questionare. Then, go to insert on whichever page you want it to be displayed on and then click on which form. Click "OK" and the form will be put up.
Links- Links are a bit different. You go to the page that you want the link to be shown on and then click insert, then Link. If you want a picture or clickable text instead of the actual adress. Then click "Ok" and your link will be put up.
Calenders- You must fill in dates and special happenings first, and then do exacly the same things for polls, links and forms.
Appying Cursors- To apply a cursor to your page, click on cursors and then click on "Browse" if you want a picture. Then, if you want text, like "Have a good day" or "Don't steal my stuff" to follow it. Click "Ok" and then you must go to page features.
If you see anything you are interested in, click on it. Don't put a password unless you want nobody that doesn't know you to see that part of the site. Click "Apply Cursor" and then you will have the cursor on your page. Note: If you do this for one page (other than the Home Page) you will have to apply it to your other sites, too (only if you want your other sites to have a cursor on them). |
