Billy My Brother
Dedicated to William "Billy" Candillo from his 16 year old sister Crystal.

Hi. Thank You For Visiting. This is a webpage dedicated to my brother Billy Candillo (2-23-81 to 12-07-2000). He passed away from cancer at the age of 19. We are under construction and will feature pictures of Billy, myself and his best friend Lisa Roxia. I thank you so much for reading and getting to know about my late brothers life.

Billy was a happy guy until he turned 3 years old and 8 months. That's when I was born. It was said that when my parents introduced me to Billy he said "I wanted dog, no cat". From that day on until the day he died he always called me "Cryscat". We grew up in a upper middle class neighbourhood in Ontario, Canada. Billy always treated me well in the early years. Then when we got older came the sibling rivalry. We played, punched and smacked ourselves around. But HEY, we were only pre teen kids. Later on when Billly reached his early teens we became closer by him going to my soccer games and me his junior hockey games. We still fought at home over time in the bathroom and tv shows and all kind of crazy things. When I became a teenager, Billy watched me like a hawk by following me and interrupting me when I was talking to guys. HEY, he was a big brother. When I found out he had cancer, my whole life revolved around him. When he died, a major part of me died with him. Gone is the dream of seeing him at my High School Graduation. The dream of him seeing me marry the guy of my dreams. Him being an Uncle to my children. Me being an aunt to his children. Gone are the days of me looking over at him typing away on his computer. All gone is him making his drink of choice "Grape HI C" from the powdered can and him leaving some powder spilled on the counter top. Gone are the days of asking him for homework help, calling him downstairs for dinner and hearing him say his favourite three words: "Asswipe, Wiseass, Hey". Gone are the days of him crying out in pain from the cancer. Gone is how he hugged me and protected me and cared for me. Gone is ever hearing him say "Cryscat" again. As I type this now I can take a quick look over at his computer on the other side of the room and still see him there smiling, even though he isn't.
William "Billy" Candillo died at 12:27 am est on December,7,2000. He died peacefully in a coma after 4 years and 7 months of cancer treatment. He was only nineteen years old.
Billy left a letters for each of us to open after his death. What he wrote will always be between me and him. But will remain in my heart forever.
If you have the time, please look up to the sky on a clear night and say..."Hi Billy". I want him to know up there, that his friends still care here on earth.
Crystal Candillo
(Billy's little sister forever).

Please check out the links on top of this page. Billy invented a "Favorite Teens and Young Starlets Board". While going through his computer files I found some of his favourite posts. Also, click on a touching eulogy that was given at Billy's funeral from his best friend Lisa Roxia.
