Coping With Depression
The Objective
This site is here to provide information about depression to the people who really need it. Depression is a illness caused from stress, or trama in your life. This can lead to bad habits such as inflicting pain on yourself or others, and even commtting suicide. Though that is an extreme it is also a common thought in the mind when you expirence depression. Depression is most commonly found among teens, this is caused by stress from school, friends, and even loved ones. Teens express depression through harmful actions that they think "eases the pain." Cutting is a form of self-harm done to yourself from depression or stress. Though some say that teens do it for attention that still means there is something seriously wrong with them. Depression not only effects you! Others around you feel it too. When you stop going out with your friends, they feel hated or rejected. You have to think about the pain and harm you are not only doing to yourself but to the people you love. If you decide to take your own life because of the pain and stress you feel, think about the after effects. You will tremendously hurt your friends and family! You may even want that. but think, think carefully. Suicide is a PERMANENT solution to a temporary problem.
