Hi!My name is Elizabeth and I am going to tell you what it is like to be an angelman sister.First go to www.maxpages.com\angelmankid to find out what an angelman kid is then you will know what I am talking about when I say angelman kid.Well when you are a sister of a kid like this you can't leave anything on the floor because they do not look down to see if anything is on the when they are walking.You always have to be prepared foe a BIG hug (they love getting and giving hugs.)They also love to laugh.One thing that bothers me is when you are in the store and people stair at them.I really don't know why people stair the kids are just like you and me they just can't do things as good as we can.Well those are some things on what it is like to be an angelman sister.IF YOU WANT TO KNOW IF YOUR CHILD HAS ANGELMAN SYNDROME YOU CAN TELL BY WHEN THEY ARE AN INFANT BY.....FEEDING PROBLEMS, POOR SLEEPING PATTERNS,AND DELAYED MOTOR DEVELOPMENT. WHEN THAY GET OLDER BY..... FLATTENED BACK OF HEAD, LITE SKIN, EYE AND HAIR COLOR(AS COMPARED TO OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS), CHEWING, AND OTHER ORAL BEHAVIORS,AND SEVERE LEARNING DISABILITIES. WHEN THEY ARE EVEN OLDER YOU CAN TELL BY...... UNSTABLE, JERKY (ATAXIC) GAIT, SMALL HEAD (MICROCEPHALY), ADNORMAL OR INAPPROPRIATE,UNUSUAL HAPPY DEMEANOR, TONGUE PROTUSION, SEIZURE DISORDER, SEVERELY ABNORMAL ELECTRONECEPHALOGRAMS(EEGS), AND LAST IS LACK OF SPEECH/FEW WORDS-RECEPTIVE LANGUAGE SKILLS MAY BE MUCH HIGHER THEN EXPRESSIVE LANGUAGE SKILLS.Oh!and 1 more thing, the reason theie is a fairy giving a gift with fairy dust is because this is what your son or daughter is giving you!AND IT IS THEM!Well thank you for reading what a angelman kid is and what it is like to be an angelman sister.
